  • Montgomery - EastChase Farmer’s Market - May 13-October 28

    The Shoppes at EastChase Farmer’s Market includes many local vendors and festivities for the entire family. Throughout the summer and into the fall, shoppers will find unique, local items such as organic meats, goat cheese, natural bath products and hand-made soaps, honey, sprout breads, pastries, birdhouses and nursery plants in addition to all kinds of great produce.   • Hillbrook - Youth Fishing Rodeo - August 5

    The Alabama Nature Center’s annual youth fishing rodeo invites children 15 and under to catch and take home up to five catfish, and catch and release as many as they can hook, so load up the kids, some fishing poles and a cooler.   • Montgomery - Dragonboat Race & Festival - August 26

    The dragons are coming back to Montgomery! More than 60 teams will converge downtown at Riverfront Park to paddle and party for a cause while in pursuit of the Grand Championship Trophy. Off the water, browse various goods from local exhibitors and artists, enjoy food and drink from local vendors, and find a spot to watch the live music from the amphitheatre stage. The Festival benefits two local non-profits, Bridge Builders Alabama and Rebuilding Together Central Alabama. Learn More

    For the fourth consecutive year, Fisher’s at Orange Beach Marina will host the Southern Grace dinner series featuring award-winning and celebrity chefs from across the South. Fresh off his second nomination for a James Beard Award, Fisher’s Executive Chef Bill Briand will open up his kitchen to spotlight the talent and cuisine of notable chefs from across the region.
